    Hello –

This morning Brightcove sent this email regarding some troubles they were having this morning. All should be fixed, however it may take a bit of time for the fix to propagate. See email from Brightcove team member below.

    ==============================

    Hello,

You are being impacted by a Storymaker DNS problem that was reported and corrected earlier today, though it can sometimes take a while for the corrective DNS updates to propagate to all systems.

While the situation has been corrected, we are continuing to monitor, with Brightcove Systems Engineering standing by if needed.

Might I suggest that we touch base mid afternoon, and if the problem is still occurring I can escalate as needed.

  • Enticent Roll-Out is Complete!

    Jen 9:30 am on August 3, 2009 | 1 Permalink | Reply

    Hello,

We have completed the Enticent Fan Club roll out on time and I thank everyone in the markets helping us to stay on track and deliver before our deadline date of July 31st. As a reminder, Enticent provides Fan Club which includes these tools: email marketing, contesting, music testing, surveys and flash-based games.

These markets now have Fan Club up and running:

    Greenville
    Greensboro
    Milwaukee
    Kansas City
    Norfolk
    Seattle
    Madison
    San Francisco
    Denver
    Buffalo
    Portland
    Austin
    Wichita (KDGS)
    New Orleans
    Wilkes Barre

KKSN in KC and KYCH in PDX are switching from the Enticent’s Stickyfish product (points based program) to Fan Club and both will be live by the first week of August.

Now that we have completed the roll-out I will be doing the following:

    1. Contacting each market to gather product feedback (questions, enhancements and concerns) and I will then sit down with Enticent and review with their team and provide feedback to each of you. Thank you to all of you who have provided me your feedback so far.
    2. We are in the process of developing 3 different HTML email newsletter templates layouts that include 24/7 ad tags. Once this is complete I will provide an overview of how to use these templates. My current ETA is to have this rolled out by September 1, 2009 if not sooner.
    3. I worked with Enticent to make the Entercom General Contest Market Rules the default set of rules when a contest is created. We linked to your general contest page rules on your website. If you have custom contest rules this can be overwritten in the backend admin. Questions? Just let me know.
    4. Publish a schedule on entercomdigital.com for regular training for Fan Club and Tribal Direct (email program).
    5. I will be working on a Best Practice document for Fan club/Email Marketing and will send that out once it is ready.

Lastly, if you need help or have questions for Enticent they have an email to submit questions –  success at enticent.com. You may also call this number if you do not want to send an email – 770-919-9969. If you have a fairly large problem please be sure to include me in your communication to Enticent. You can also find contact information for Enticent on the Entercom Digital website - http://www.entercomdigital.com/pages/189....

For those of you that would like to take advantage of the sales support with Enticent – Matt Jones is your contact – 770-250-2729 /  matt.jones at enticent.com. I have attached a guide for interactive sales using Fan Club for your reference.

I look forward to working with you over the next year to get the most out of our database marketing!

    Jennifer Pearson
