The New WCMF

Congratulations to Paul Schmidt, the WCMF staff and the Entercom Digital team for the successful launch of Rochester’s  WCMF music site 2.0!   http://www.wcmf.com

The site does a good job of breaking mold for a classic rock radio website design and content.  Plus, dare I say it, is a great visual improvement on the old website.

Last week’s launch of WZPL brought social networking into our radar.  However, this week WCMF (along with WPXY in Rochester) have created their own social networking site “rocnet” along with Facebook and Twitter links for their on air staff.

Full credit goes to Paul on this site.  With little work on my part, Paul created the three widgets on the home page and worked with Vortal to make his hosts, shows and schedule page look amazing.  I’m truly impressed with his hard work and attention to detail.  The guy just sent me the links I should update in the nav and he did the rest.  Thanks Paul!

I look forward to see what he will create for us on WBEE “The Bee” and WBZA “Rochester Buzz”.
